Server-side analytics & marketing pixels — GA4, Meta CAPI, Google Ads, TikTok Events API. Bypasses ad blockers, strips PII, deduplicates events.

Description

ZWH Server-Side Pixels fires analytics and marketing events from your WordPress server rather than the visitor's browser. This bypasses ad blockers, ensures accurate conversion tracking, and gives you full control over what data is sent.

Supported platforms:

  • Google Analytics 4 — Measurement Protocol v2
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — Conversions API with server↔client event deduplication
  • Google Ads — Enhanced Conversions via GTM Server-Side Container + optional Offline Conversion Upload
  • TikTok Pixel — Events API 2.0

Events tracked:

  • Page Views
  • Purchase / Order Complete (WooCommerce)
  • Add to Cart (WooCommerce)
  • View Product (WooCommerce)
  • Leads / Form Submissions (Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms)

Privacy & compliance:

  • All PII (email, name, phone, address) is SHA-256 hashed before transmission
  • Extracts real IP address behind Cloudflare and proxies
  • Supports GDPR/CCPA-compliant data handling

Deduplication:

A lightweight client-side script generates a shared event_id that is passed to both the browser pixel and the server pixel, preventing Meta/TikTok from counting the same event twice.

Installation

  1. Upload the zwh-serverside-pixels folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Activate the plugin in Plugins → Installed Plugins
  3. Go to Settings → Server Pixels and enter your API credentials
  4. Enable Test Mode and verify events in each platform's test console before going live

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this replace client-side pixels?

No — it complements them. Client-side pixels fire immediately on page load; server-side events provide a reliable fallback and are deduplicated via a shared event_id.

Does it work without WooCommerce?

Yes for page views and leads. Purchase, add-to-cart, and view-item events require WooCommerce.

How do I test that events are firing?

Enable Test Mode in settings. GA4 uses the Debug View; Meta uses Events Manager → Test Events; TikTok uses Events Manager → Test Events. Check your error_log for [ZWH_SSP] entries.
