This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/zanematthew/plugin-readme-to-post/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description

Creates Tabs based on the standard WordPress markdown sections (Description, Installation, FAQ, Changelog).

If your WordPress Plugin is on the same install as the Plugin Readme to Post Plugin the readme content will be derived for you. If not you can assign the URL to the readme.txt file.

Usage

Activate the Plugin
Create a Post
Add the following shortcode [parse_readme]

Installation

Download the Plugin
Activate the Plugin
