This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/zachisit/sidebar_posts/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Sidebar Posts Plugin

This plugin is built to create a Custom Post Type, and allow admin to select six posts to show in a shortcode that is placed inside the theme. If user is viewing an article that is same article selected by admin to show in sidebar, then it shows a random article.

The plugin is built with very basic MVC approach, with frontend and backend css dependencies. This plugin is responsive in nature and has been tested in mobile and tablet prior to release.

This plugin was built with Tater sleeping next to me most of the development, and as of writing he is sleeping in front of the office desk while the sun rises and I listen to some Harold Budd
