This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/xemlock/wordpress-seo-sitemap-fix/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Fix for Yoast SEO Sitemap error

This WordPress plugin fixes Yoast SEO sitemap error: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo-sitemap-fix directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress
