Installation
- Create an installable ZIP whose top-level folder is
ko-strip-author-information. - In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Upload the ZIP and activate KO – Strip Author Information.
- Clear all page, object, CDN, and browser caches.
- Verify representative content, comments, an author URL, feeds, and public APIs on staging.
Limits
The plugin does not modify arbitrary prose. A name manually typed into post content, a custom field, an image, or proprietary plugin output must be removed from that source or handled by a site-specific integration.
Developer filters
ko_sai_should_strip_author_information
Filters whether the current request receives stripped author output.
