This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/wy4tt34rp/ko-hide-tax-in-cart/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Small WordPress plugin that prevents WooCommerce taxes from being calculated or displayed on the cart page while leaving checkout tax calculation available for Avalara.

What It Targets

Cart page requests, with checkout explicitly excluded.

For Divi 4 cart templates, it also wraps the et_pb_wc_cart_totals shortcode as a no-tax fallback.

How It Works

The plugin makes WooCommerce tax checks return disabled on cart pages, makes the woocommerce_calc_taxes option read as no for those cart requests, recalculates cart totals without tax, removes residual tax amounts from the cart total, and clears cached tax totals from cart output. Checkout is not included in that scope.

No admin screen. No CSS hiding.
