This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/wpmetabox/meta-box-lite/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

On Packagist as wpmetabox/meta-box-lite:

composer require wpmetabox/meta-box-lite
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Meta Box Lite is an easy-to-use, powerful, and performant tool to create custom post types and custom fields for WordPress.

The plugin provides an easy-to-use and WordPress-like interface to create post types and fields right inside the WordPress admin. The plugin has more than 40 different field types such as text, textarea, WYSIWYG editor, image/file, post, choice, date/time picker, taxonomy, user, oEmbed, and more.
