This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/wplit/oxygen-block-lab-support/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Block lab is a free plugin that offers an easy way to add custom Gutenberg blocks to WordPress. By default, a theme is needed to store the template files for each block. This plugin simply allows you to add your new block templates without the need for a theme. Built especially for Oxygen where the theme is completely disabled.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin here.
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin. Click on Upload Plugin and browse for the zip file.
  3. Activate the plugin.

Usage

  1. Add your block template files for your custom blocks into /block_lab_templates/blocks/ found in this plugin.
  2. In the edit block screen, the template metabox should be green and say 'Template found'.
