Install

Download source zip No release zip yet

This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/wpflat/emailfooter/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Free, open-source WordPress plugin: one professional email signature for every employee. By WPFlat. More at wpflat.com/emailfooter.

You design the signature once. Each employee adds their own details, checks the preview in light and dark mode, and installs it in their own mail app by following numbered steps (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and 13 more).

  • Ten layouts, 24 colour themes, custom HTML templates, a locked legal footer
  • Companies, people, invitations and share links, with roles checked on the server
  • Optional Agency mode: many client companies and your own branding
  • No licence key, no limits, no tracking: the plugin does not contact us

Download

Download the latest zip (or see all releases).

In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it. A short setup guide opens on its own. Requires WordPress 6.4+ and PHP 7.4+.

Build from source

The compiled app in build/ is committed so the plugin installs without a build step. To rebuild it from ui/:

npm install
npm run build
npm run zip # writes dist/emailfooter-<version>.zip and dist/emailfooter.zip

Tests

npm test runs the interface tests. tests/ also holds PHP checks that run inside a WordPress site with the plugin active.
