No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

Description
This plugin is designed to solve the issue of trying to upload hundreds or thousands of files through the WordPress web UI, which often results in timeouts. The plugin provides an admin interface with a button that initiates an AJAX process to upload files one at a time in the background.

Installation
- Upload the
asset-uploaderfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
- Go to the 'Asset Uploader' menu in the WordPress admin
Usage
- Add your files to the
wp-content/uploads/assets/directory - Go to the 'Asset Uploader' page in the WordPress admin
- Click the "Start Upload Process" button
- Monitor the progress as files are uploaded to the Media Library
- Once complete, you can find all the files in the Media Library
Requirements
- WordPress 5.0 or higher
- PHP 7.0 or higher
