Gently reminds authors to check image alt text before publishing posts.

Description

Alt Text Remind is a tiny, dependency-free reminder for the block editor and classic editor. When an author clicks Publish or Update, it checks the post content for images without alt text and shows a friendly confirmation. Choosing Cancel keeps the post open; choosing OK publishes normally.

The plugin does not alter content, save data, or permanently block publishing.

Installation

  1. Upload the ww-alt-text-remind folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install the ZIP through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate Alt Text Remind.
  3. Edit a post and publish as usual.
