This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/webguyjeff/layout-container/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

A flexible container block that allows you to control content width independently of your theme.

📦 Installation

WordPress

  1. Upload the plugin to /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Activate the plugin via the WordPress admin
  3. Open the block editor to access the Layout Container block

🚀 Usage

WordPress

  • Insert the Layout Container block into your content
  • Choose a layout style (e.g. full, wide, constrained)
  • Add inner blocks and control their width independently

Use cases:

  • Creating full-width sections with controlled inner content
