Download webaware-secure-1.5.2.zip From the 1.5.2 release on GitHub, Dec 19, 2023

Upload it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/webaware/webaware-secure/releases/download/1.5.2/webaware-secure-1.5.2.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Because every WordPress security plugin I've ever looked at has been bloated, problematic (breaks websites), ill-informed, and prone to security vulnerabilities. And I needed some options for Apache-hosted clients.
