Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/wearerequired/register-default-theme-directory/archive/refs/heads/master.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
Register WordPress' Default Theme Directory
When installing WordPress using Composer with a separated wp-content directory, WordPress isn't automatically aware of the default themes inside the WordPress folder.
This package simply registers the theme directory with WordPress so you can use the default WordPress themes without hassle.
Installation
The package type is wordpress-muplugin. Example of a composer.json:
