Install

No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

wp plugin install https://github.com/vralle/vralle-jquery-cdn/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

Load jQuery from Google CDN:

  • At the moment the plugin uses the latest version of jQuery (v3.5.x).
  • Local fallback uses WP specific version of jQuery

Installation

  1. Install github-updater by downloading the latest zip here. We rely on this plugin for updating vralle.jQuery-CDN directly from this git repo.
  2. Install vralle.jQuery-CDN by downloading the latest zip here. Both github-updater and vralle.jQuery-CDN will now download their own updates automatically, so you will never need to go through that tedious zip downloading again.
