No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

This WordPress plugin adds a Sanskrit transliteration tool that converts Romanized Sanskrit (with diacritics) into Hebrew script. The tool can be embedded in any post or page using the shortcode:

📦 Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP.
  2. In your WordPress Admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  3. Upload the ZIP, install and activate the plugin.
  4. Use the shortcode [sanskrit_transliterator] in any post/page to display the converter.

  • Converts input from Roman script to Hebrew script with phonetic precision.
  • Supports two modes for input:
    • Vedabase (ScaGoudy font)
    • Web (Sans-Serif standard input)
  • Outputs in Hebrew using either:
    • FrankRuehl font
    • Web-safe Hebrew font

  • The script applies regex-based transliteration rules including context-aware substitutions.
  • Some consonants (e.g., ṁ) change based on position (middle vs. word end).
  • Font switching affects only visual display — not logic.
