Install

The author publishes release zips, so WP-CLI can install straight from GitHub:

wp plugin install https://github.com/vastolordex-official/hentai-hanga-scrape-for-madara-theme/releases/download/v1.0/hentai-manga-scrape-github.zip

Ships its own WordPress updater (built-in updater), so new versions show up under Dashboard → Updates.

How to Activate (Free)

  1. Go to this repository and click the ⭐ Star button.
  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Hentai Scraper menu.
  3. Enter your GitHub username and click Activate Plugin.
  4. ✅ All features unlocked!

Installation

  1. Download the plugin .zip from GitHub Releases (or clone this repo).
  2. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the file and click Install Now.
  4. Activate the plugin.
  5. Enter your GitHub username to activate (as described above).

Capabilities

  1. Auto Scrape — works with supported sites (hentai18.net)
  2. Manual HTML — if auto scrape fails, copy page source and paste (supports hentai18.net & hentairead.com)
  3. Designed to scrape H-manga: title, cover, tags, and chapters
  4. Chapter image auto-download is still in testing — you may need to edit chapters in the Manga post
  5. After import, go to Manga → edit post → add tags, fix chapter list manually
  6. Imported manga gets "novel" tag by default — change in Manga settings
