This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/unscripted/simple-ad-embed/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description

The Simple Ad Embed plugin helps users easily place ads from Google AdSense (or other embed based program) on a WordPress.com blog or a standalone Wordpress install.
All you have to do is add the widget to your sidebar and paste your embed code.

It's that simple!

Installation

As any other WordPress plugin you can enable simple ad embed through the plugins page in the WordPress admin area.

Once enabled go to the widgets page, add the simple ad embed widget to your sidebar and paste in the embed code from your ad platform.
