Tomatillo Design ~ People Cards

A flexible ACF-powered block for showcasing individual people — perfect for staff, board members, or directory listings.

ACF Block: Person

Features

  • Clean, accessible markup
  • Fields for name, titles, pronouns, bio, image, and accent color
  • Responsive layout (image right on desktop, stacked on mobile)
  • Respects Yak theme variables for typography, spacing, and color
  • Graceful fallback when accent color is not set

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or later
  • PHP 7.4 or later
  • ACF Pro (Advanced Custom Fields)

Installation

  1. Download or clone this repo into your wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin from the WordPress admin.
  3. Use the "Person" block in the block editor.

Usage

This block is located under the Common category and is named Person. Add it anywhere in your content and fill in the ACF fields for each person.
