Install

No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

wp plugin install https://github.com/the-creative-depot/tcd-glossary/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

Ships its own WordPress updater (built-in updater), so new versions show up under Dashboard → Updates.

A-Z glossary with Elementor widget support, taxonomy filtering, and GitHub auto-updates.

Description

Display any custom post type as an A-Z grouped glossary. Features include:

  • Elementor Widget with full style controls (typography, colors, spacing, borders, shadows)
  • Taxonomy filtering via pill buttons or dropdown
  • Settings page (Settings > TCD Glossary) to select which CPT and taxonomy to use
  • Shortcode [tcd_glossary] for non-Elementor pages
  • Auto-updates from GitHub releases

Installation

  1. Upload the tcd-glossary folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu.
  3. Go to Settings > TCD Glossary and select your post type and taxonomy.
  4. Use the Elementor widget or add [tcd_glossary] to any page.
