No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

Wordpress plugin Gallery with latest posts from specific category

Parameters:

category - parent category
orderby - how to order the posts (DESC)
max - how many post to show
more - text for "read more"
bgcolor - background color (for the overlay)
color - font color
