This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/tanvirisraq/wp-paddle-payment-gateway-for-edd/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Accept one-time payments and subscriptions in Easy Digital Downloads through Paddle Billing, the merchant of record that handles payment processing, sales tax/VAT and invoicing.

  • Paddle checkout as an overlay or embedded inline with an order summary
  • Cart prices, discounts, fees and variable prices sent to Paddle (no need to recreate products in Paddle)
  • Signed webhooks, refunds in both directions, chargebacks
  • EDD Recurring Payments: subscriptions, trials, signup fees, renewals, cancellations
  • Customer billing portal shortcode [edd_paddle_portal]

Requires WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+, Easy Digital Downloads 3.1+.

Status: pre-release (1.0.0). Not yet tested end to end with a Paddle account.

Install

Download the zip from the latest GitHub Actions build or release, then upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. To build it yourself:

php bin/build-zip.php
