Upload it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

Installation

Download the latest release of the plugin & install it on your WordPress site.

Overview

The "Enable Media Replace" plugin is a popular plugin that allows you to replace media files in your WordPress site. It also has a feature that removes the background of images when replacing them. This feature is enabled by default and can't be disabled from the plugin settings. This plugin disables the background removal feature via a filter.

Usage

It works out of the box. No configuration needed.
