A WordPress plugin that creates category-specific glossaries.

Description

Translation Glossary allows you to create and manage glossaries for specific categories of content on your WordPress site. This is particularly useful for novel translations or any content that requires specialized terminology.

Installation

  1. Upload the translation-glossary folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Access the Translation Glossary menu in your WordPress admin

Usage

Creating a Glossary

  1. Go to Translation Glossary > Manage Glossaries
  2. Click "Add New Glossary"
  3. Enter a name for your glossary
  4. Assign it to a category
  5. Publish the glossary

Adding Terms to a Glossary

  1. Go to Translation Glossary > Manage Terms
  2. Click "Add New Term"
  3. Enter the term name
  4. Provide a definition in the content area
  5. Add any variations of the term (optional)
  6. Assign the term to a glossary
  7. Publish the term

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.0 or higher
  • PHP 7.0 or higher
