Minimalistic integration between WooCommerce and Odoo.

WoooDoo Inventory Sync Plugin

The repository now contains a WordPress plugin that lets store owners:

  • Configure Odoo connection details (URL, database, user name and API key) from the WordPress dashboard.
  • Test the connection to Odoo directly from the settings screen.
  • Fetch the "free to use" quantities from Odoo and update matching WooCommerce products by SKU or barcode.
  • Review when the quantities were last synchronised and how many products were updated in the most recent run.
  • Extend the integration via WordPress filters and actions for barcode meta keys and quantity overrides.

The plugin keeps the API key obscured in the settings form and only updates WooCommerce products that have a matching SKU or barcode in Odoo.

Installation

  1. Download or clone this repository into your WordPress wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Ensure the folder name remains wooodoo so WordPress can detect the plugin header in wooodoo.php.
  3. Activate the plugin from Plugins → Installed Plugins inside the WordPress admin area.
  4. Navigate to WooCommerce → Odoo Inventory Sync to configure your Odoo credentials, test the connection, and trigger quantity updates.

Sync workflow

  1. The plugin authenticates to Odoo using the provided URL, database, username, and API key.
  2. WooCommerce product identifiers are matched against default_code and barcode fields in Odoo.
  3. For each match the plugin updates stock quantity and stock status using WooCommerce stock helpers.
  4. A timestamp and the number of updated products are stored so the settings screen shows the latest sync activity.
