Install

No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

A simple WordPress plugin to dequeue CSS & JS files on specific pages and posts.

Features

  • Scan and detect all CSS & JS files on any page/post
  • Dequeue assets per page/post with checkboxes
  • Auto-purge caches (LiteSpeed, WP Rocket, W3TC, etc.)
  • Debug mode with ?acm_debug=1

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Go to Plugins and activate "Asset Control Manager"
  3. Click Asset Control in the admin sidebar

How to Use

  1. Select a page/post from the dropdown
  2. Wait for the scan to complete (2-3 seconds)
  3. Check the boxes next to CSS/JS files you want to remove
  4. Click Save Asset Settings
  5. Visit the page and add ?acm_debug=1 to verify

Troubleshooting

"No scan data found" error:

  • Go to LiteSpeed Cache > Purge All
  • Log in on the frontend
  • Try scanning again

Assets still loading:

  • Purge your cache manually
  • Add ?acm_debug=1 to check the real Post ID
