This plugin adds a new section in WordPress Customizer for setting background color and/or image (with repeat and size options) for header in Genesis.

This plugin adds a new section in WordPress Customizer for setting background color and/or image (with repeat and size options) for header in Genesis.

Note: This plugin only supports Genesis child themes.

Installation

  1. Upload the entire genesis-header-background-customizer folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. DO NOT change the name of the genesis-header-background-customizer folder
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  4. Navigate to the Appearance > Customize in the back end or Customize item on the front end
  5. Set your desired header background color and or background image
