What this plugin does

WP Grammar Nazi ensures proper Slovenian grammar (pluralization, gender, and grammatical case) for custom post types (CPTs) and strings emitted by popular plugins (WooCommerce, LearnDash, The Events Calendar, EventON, Amelia) and CPT builders (ACF, MetaBox, Pods, Toolset, CPT UI).

It runs as a post-translation string filter and as CPT-label overrides, with an admin dictionary for adding/editing noun forms. Admin UI is bilingual (Slovenian / English).

Installation

  1. Place the grammar-nazi folder in wp-content/plugins/.
  2. Activate the plugin in WordPress Admin.
  3. Go to WP Grammar Nazi in admin menu.
    • Settings: choose which plugins/CPTs to enable, and admin UI language.
    • Dictionary: add/edit terms and import/export JSON.
    • Status / Debug: see enabled integrations and replacement counts.
    • Help & Docs: usage instructions.

Notes

  • The plugin works by intercepting translated strings via gettext and applying grammar-aware replacements.
  • For translations, edit .po files in /languages/ and compile .mo via Poedit or WP CLI.
  • Use the Dictionary export/import to share custom entries.
