Description

Spry Media Upload Tools scales oversized image uploads to administrator-defined maximum dimensions.

Upload scaling is configured in Settings > Media. Administrators can set a maximum width, maximum height, or both. Images are scaled proportionally and aspect ratio is preserved. Animated GIF files are not resized.

Installation

  1. Upload the spry-media-upload-tools folder to wp-content/plugins/.
  2. Activate "Spry Media Upload Tools" in the WordPress admin.
  3. Go to Settings > Media to configure maximum upload width and height.
