🚀 Installation

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.8+
  • PHP 7.4+
  • WooCommerce (must be installed and active)

Install

cd /path/to/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/
git clone https://github.com/sharanvijaydev/wp-ai-product-writer.git
  1. Activate in WordPress → Plugins
  2. Go to AI Product Writer → Settings
  3. Choose AI provider, set your brand tone & audience
  4. Save settings
  5. Go to AI Product Writer → Product Scanner

📖 Usage

Bulk Mode (Scanner Page)

  1. Go to AI Product Writer → Product Scanner
  2. Click 🔍 Scan Products
  3. Review products with issues:
    • ❌ No description at all
    • ⚠️ Description too short (< 30 words)
    • 📝 Missing short description
  4. Select products → 🤖 Generate for Selected
  5. Review AI-generated content for each product
  6. Click ✅ Accept to save or 🔄 to regenerate

Single Product (Editor)

  1. Edit any WooCommerce product
  2. Scroll to 🤖 AI Description Writer meta box
  3. Click Generate Description
  4. Preview full description, short description & SEO meta
  5. Edit if needed → Click Apply to Product

The plugin sends these details to the AI for context-aware descriptions:
