Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

🚀 Installation

cd /path/to/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/
git clone https://github.com/sharanvijaydev/wp-ai-internal-linker.git
  1. Activate in WordPress → Plugins
  2. Go to AI Linker → Settings
  3. Choose your AI provider and add API key
  4. Test connection
  5. Edit any post → see the AI Internal Link Suggestions meta box

📖 Usage

Suggesting Links (Post Editor)

  1. Open any post/page for editing
  2. Scroll to AI Internal Link Suggestions meta box
  3. Click Analyze & Suggest Links
  4. Review suggestions — each shows anchor text, target page, and reason
  5. Click Apply Link to insert or Copy HTML for manual use

Orphan Report

  1. Go to AI Linker → Orphan Report
  2. Click Scan Internal Links
  3. View orphan pages (no incoming links) and dead-end pages (no outgoing links)
  4. Click Edit Post to fix each issue
