Install

Download source zip No release zip yet

This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/shahadul878/extend-video-addons/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Enhances the Elementor video widget with automatic video source detection. Paste any supported video URL and the plugin automatically detects the platform—YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, VideoPress, or self-hosted.

This plugin is not affiliated with Elementor. "Elementor" is a trademark of its respective owner.

Features

  • Auto Source Detection – Automatically detects video platform from URL patterns
  • Multiple Platform Support – YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, VideoPress, and self-hosted videos
  • Dynamic Content Support – Works with Elementor dynamic content (ACF fields, post meta)
  • Non-invasive – Extends Elementor's existing Video widget; does not replace it
  • Backward Compatible – Existing Video widgets and original Elementor features continue to work
