Install

No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

Event Pulse is an open-source WordPress plugin for displaying a live countdown to the next upcoming event. It supports one-time events, weekly recurring events, shortcode output, and a native Gutenberg block.

Usage

Create an event from Events > Add New Event, set the start/end times, recurrence, and theme, then add the countdown to a page.

Shortcode:

Specific event:

[event_pulse id="123"]

[event_pulse theme="minimal-light"]

Architecture

The plugin separates responsibilities into small classes:

  • Assets: frontend asset enqueueing.
