This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/seo-bandwagon/wp-mcp-acf-abilities/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) abilities for the WordPress MCP Adapter plugin. Exposes ACF functionality to AI agents via the Model Context Protocol.

Requirements

WordPress 6.9+
PHP 7.4+
MCP Adapter plugin
Advanced Custom Fields (Free or Pro)

Installation

Clone this repository into your WordPress plugins directory:

cd wp-content/plugins/
git clone git@github.com:seo-bandwagon/wp-mcp-acf-abilities.git

Install development dependencies:
```
composer install
```
Activate the plugin in WordPress admin.
