This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/scottjgd/boreal-security/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Production source for the free, GPL-licensed Boreal Security WordPress plugin. The WordPress.org package contains no Pro, licence, entitlement, commercial updater, generated distribution, or external PHP dependency.

Manual scans are intentionally explicit and resumable. Core checksum network access occurs only as part of that explicit scan. See readme.txt for user and privacy details.
