What It Does

SavedPixel Reset Selective Clear is a targeted cleanup plugin for staging sites, demos, repeatable QA setups, and development environments. Instead of wiping the whole installation, it lets you choose which post types, taxonomies, plugin settings, plugin upload folders, and active plugins should be cleared or preserved.

Admin Page

The Selective Clear page is split into large tables for post types, taxonomies, plugin data reset, and plugin activation after reset. Each table shows counts before you run anything so you can see the scope of the cleanup before confirming it.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.5 or later
• PHP 8.1 or later

Installation

1. Upload the savedpixel-reset-selective-clear folder to wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate the plugin from the WordPress Plugins screen.
3. Open SavedPixel > Selective Clear.
4. Choose the content, plugin data, upload folders, and keep-active rules you want to apply before submitting the reset.

Usage Notes

• This plugin is destructive and does not provide an undo flow.
• Plugin data clearing is best-effort; it targets detected option names and option families, not every possible custom storage location.
• Review the checkbox selections carefully before running the reset on any site with data you still need.
