This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/sanghuynhxuan/wordpress-security-hardening/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

A practical XML-RPC and login-message hardening plugin.

Functional scope

  • Runs as a standalone WordPress plugin
  • Uses a plugin-specific PHP namespace to avoid class collisions
  • Includes an admin settings screen and an enable/disable option
  • Implements real WordPress or WooCommerce hooks for the stated workflow
  • Cleans up its option on uninstall

Installation

Copy this repository into wp-content/plugins/wordpress-security-hardening, activate it, then open Settings → WordPress Security Hardening.

Production note

This is a working reference implementation intended for discovery and adaptation to a client’s requirements. Test on staging before deployment.
