Custom Attendee Fields

Adds extra fields (Phone, Company, Dietary, T-Shirt size, Notes) to the Event Tickets attendee registration form, stores them as attendee post meta, and surfaces them in the WP admin attendee list, CSV export and the confirmation email. Works with RSVP tickets out of the box; enhances WooCommerce tickets when Event Tickets Plus + WooCommerce are present.

Purpose

Custom Attendee Fields is a WordPress plugin for The Events Calendar / Event Tickets events. It lets event organizers add extra attendee registration fields to RSVP and ticket purchase forms, save those answers as attendee meta, and display them in the attendee admin screens, CSV exports, and confirmation emails.

This plugin is designed for events where you want to collect more information from attendees than the default ticket form provides, such as:

  • phone number
  • company name
  • dietary requirements
  • T-shirt size
  • notes or special requests

What the plugin does

  • Adds custom attendee fields to the front-end RSVP / attendee registration form.
  • Lets each event define its own set of fields from the event editor.
  • Stores submitted values as attendee post meta.
  • Shows custom field values in the Event Tickets attendee list and details view.
  • Includes custom fields in CSV export output.
  • Appends attendee field values to confirmation emails.

  • Event Tickets Plus for WooCommerce-backed ticket flows

Notes

  • The plugin works with RSVP tickets out of the box.
  • It also supports WooCommerce ticket flows when Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce are available.
  • Field configuration is managed per event from the event editor, rather than from a global settings screen.
  1. Install and activate WordPress.
  2. Install and activate The Events Calendar and Event Tickets.
  3. Install this plugin in your WordPress plugins directory.
  4. Edit an event and configure the custom attendee fields in the RSVP Custom Fields metabox.
