Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/royboy789/sg-90-google-fonts/archive/refs/heads/master.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
This extension adds a new section for your Style Guide that connects to the Google Fonts API. Load any of the Google Fonts to showcase in your Style Guide.
Setup Google Fonts API Key
- Go to the Google Developers Console.
- Select or Create a Project
- In the sidebar on the left, select APIs & auth. In the list of APIs, make sure the status is ON for the Google Fonts Developer API.
- In the sidebar on the left, select Credentials.
- Create an Public API key (Browser Key) and make sure to allow your domain
- Copy Key and paste in form above
Installing the SG-90 Google Fonts Extension
- Download and decompress ZIP file or fork repo into plugins directory
- Activate SG-90 Google Fonts Extension plugin
- Go to the SG-90 Google Fonts Settings page (located under SG-90 main menu) to put in your Google API credentials
- Create or Edit a Style Guide, and you should see a new section available for Google Fonts
