Better Messages WooCommerce Order is a custom WooCommerce extension that integrates chat functionality into the order process with the help of better message plugin. This plugin allows shop managers to communicate with customers through a chat feature, enabling a seamless post-order experience.

Features

  • Enable Chat & Notification: A simple toggle to enable or disable the chat feature for each product.
  • Select Shop Manager: Assign a specific shop manager to receive chat messages for each product. By default, messages will be sent to the person who added the product.
  • Custom Chat Message: Define a personalized message that will be sent to customers once their payment is successful.
  • Order-Related Sharing: Customers can share texts, images, or other requirements related to their orders through the chat feature.
  • Admin Access: Admins can view all chats from the Orders detail page, making it easy to manage communications.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file.
  2. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  4. Click on Upload Plugin and select the downloaded ZIP file.
  5. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.

Usage

  1. After activating the plugin, go to the Products section in your WooCommerce dashboard.
  2. Edit a product to access the new Chat Settings tab.
  3. Configure the settings as needed:
    • Enable or disable chat.
    • Select the shop manager for the product.
    • Customize the chat message for successful payments.
  4. Once the configuration is done, customers will be able to use the chat feature after placing their orders.
  5. Customers can also view all chats on the My Account page and on each Order Details page separately.

  • WordPress version: 5.0 or higher
