This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/richtabor/comment-avatars-block/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

The Comment Avatars block dynamically displays your post's comment activity. Based on the comment status, it will display an "Add" link when there are no comments, show avatars of up to three recent commenters when comments exist, and display the total comment count to highlight discussion activity.
