Recover missing WooCommerce products and variations from order data by recreating them as private products and updating order item metadata.

Description

Product Recovery for WooCommerce helps store owners recover missing or deleted WooCommerce products and product variations that are referenced in existing orders. The plugin scans orders for missing products or variations, recreates them as private products using the order data, and updates the order item metadata accordingly.

This is useful if products have been accidentally deleted or lost but you want to maintain order integrity and reporting.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/product-recovery-for-woocommerce directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to the "Product Recovery" menu in the WordPress admin sidebar.
  4. Use the interface to scan for missing products and restore them as private products.
