Install
Upload it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/randomwire/archive-blocks/releases/download/v1.8.1/archive-blocks-1.8.1.zipUpdates itself. It ships its own updater, so new versions appear under Dashboard → Updates.

Blocks Included
- Monthly Archives - Display posts grouped by month in a compact format
- On This Day - Show posts published on this day in previous years
- Popular Terms - Display your most-used categories or tags
- Category Nav Buttons - Display categories as filter buttons linking to archive pages
- Popular Posts - Display top posts by views using Jetpack Stats data
The plugin also registers a /random permalink that 302-redirects to a random published post.
