IGDB-backed invite-only collection tracker with per-game CPT, follow graph, and two-mode activity feed.

Description

Game Collections is a WordPress plugin for video-game collectors. Registered users search the Internet Games Database (IGDB) for titles, file them into five status buckets (owned, playing, finished, backlog, wishlist), and curate a personal library rendered on a front-end /my-library/ page. Each game resolves to a stable per-game custom-post-type permalink that renders IGDB metadata and schema.org/VideoGame JSON-LD. Users can import/export CSV/JSON libraries, opt into publishing their profile, follow each other, and read a two-mode activity feed (Global / Following).

Configuration

The plugin requires two Twitch / IGDB credentials in wp-config.php:

Two TOS-gated kill-switch constants seed option values on activation:

After activation the corresponding wp_option rows are authoritative — edit them from Settings -> Game Collections rather than editing wp-config.php.
