Description

PhilDesigns Video Resume automatically saves the playback position of embedded Vimeo and YouTube videos as a user watches them. When a logged-in user returns to a page, the video resumes from where they left off.

Uses Plyr for a consistent, accessible video player experience.

Features:

  • Saves playback position on pause and during playback
  • Restores position on next play — no manual seeking required
  • Supports embedded YouTube and Vimeo iframes
  • Per-user storage via WordPress user meta
