Description

Records Contact Form 7 submissions to a database and provides an admin interface to view, filter, and export entries as CSV.

Prerequisites

Installation

  1. Install and activate Contact Form 7.
  2. Upload cf7-form-entries to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
  4. Go to Contact > Form Entries to view captured submissions.

How It Works

  • Storage — hooks into CF7's wpcf7_submit action, records mail_sent and mail_failed submissions to a custom wp_cf7_entries table. Respects CF7's do_not_store privacy flag.
  • Admin page — adds a "Form Entries" submenu under the Contact admin menu. Shows a sortable, paginated table with all form fields expanded inline.
  • Filter — dropdown to filter entries by form.
  • CSV export — "Download CSV" exports the current filter selection. Columns are dynamic — the heading row includes every unique field name across all entries. Includes a UTF-8 BOM so Excel opens it without encoding issues.
  • Delete — per-row and bulk delete with nonce verification.
