Description

An HTML5 audio player with mini and full layouts, tracklist, shuffle, loop, and volume controls. Managed as a custom post type and embedded via shortcode. Requires ACF.

Installation

  1. Install and activate the Advanced Custom Fields plugin.
  2. Upload audio-player-tracklist to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
  4. Go to Audio Players in the admin sidebar and create your first player.
  5. Choose a player style (Mini or Full), upload a background image, and add audio tracks.
  6. Copy the shortcode from the post list and embed it in any post or page.

Key Features

  • Two layouts: Mini (circular player over album art) and Full (album art + transport bar)
  • Tracklist drawer with per-track play, progress bars, and duration
  • Shuffle, loop, volume, and prev/next controls
  • Players managed as a custom post type — no config files
  • Powered by ACF fields (free version sufficient)

  • Click-to-copy shortcode button in admin post list
