A lightweight WordPress plugin that disables automatic pings and pingbacks to improve publishing speed and reduce server load — especially for high-frequency news sites.
It does not disable XML-RPC, so Jetpack and mobile app connections remain functional.

📦 Installation

1. Upload the disable-wp-pings folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
3. Done! No settings required.
