Description

BackupMyWordpress is an extension to integrate the common BackupWordpress plugin from handmade to our cloud. We provide backup space for free for one copy or a premium service for a very low fee.

We would like to thank Handmade Software for producing such a great plugin.

Installation

  1. (Pre Requisite) Install BackUpWordPress either via the WordPress.org plugin directory, or by uploading the files to your server.
  2. Install BackupMyWordpress either via the WordPress.org plugin directory, or by uploading the files to your server.
  3. Activate the plugins.
  4. Initialise the BackupMyWordpress subcription information
  5. Run a backup and watch it show up in your personal BackupMyWordpress.net cloud storage

How do I restore my site from a backup?

As this plugin is simply an extension to BackupWordpress the process is basically the same.

After obtaining the backup you wish to restore from BackupMyWordpress.net, Unzip the files and upload all the files to your server overwriting your site. You can then import the database using your hosts database management tool (likely phpMyAdmin).
