This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/ownthegame/sportstatsapi-wp/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

SportStatsAPI Live Scores & League Tables (WordPress plugin)

Gutenberg blocks and shortcodes for the SportStatsAPI embeddable widgets: league tables, live scores, fixtures, results ticker, next match, team calendar, team form.

Install

  1. In WordPress: Plugins > Add New, search "SportStatsAPI Live Scores", Install and Activate (or upload the zip from the latest release).
  2. Settings > SportStatsAPI > Connect (free key).
  3. Add a SportStatsAPI block in the editor, or use a shortcode.

Development

composer install

No JS build step: the editor script is plain wp.element.

Release (no CI needed)

No GitHub Actions workflow is used or required. .wordpress-org/ holds the wordpress.org assets (banners, icons, screenshots); they go to SVN /assets, never into the zip.

First submission (wordpress.org account modulout): upload the zip at https://wordpress.org/plugins/developers/add/ (expected slug sportstatsapi-live-scores, from the plugin name). After approval, with the SVN credentials of that account:
